Q. Should we bring the children to the wake or viewing?
A. Overall the answer is usually yes. But all children are different and often reflect the anxiety of their parents. The best advice will come from your child him/herself. Answer all questions they have with the truth and if a child wants to attend, then they are usually ready to do so. It is important to make a child feel included in such an important family event.

Q. Where do I get a death certificate?
A. The original death certificate is permanently on file at the town clerk's office in the town where the death occurred. Anyone may obtain a certified copy of the death certificate from the town clerk.
