Torrington- Madelaine A. Murelli, 76, of Clark Street, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Peter A. Murelli. Mrs. Murelli was born in Torrington on November 30, 1933, daughter of the late Andrew and Louise (Thiemann) Schaer and was a lifelong Torrington resident. She was a retired employee of The Westinghouse Corporation, retiring with twenty-six years of service. Mrs. Murelli enjoyed photography, cooking and caring for her family. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved baseball. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah L. Hoxie and her husband Forrest, of Torrington, a sister, Dale Deering of Harwinton, two grandchildren, Meeghan L. Hoxie and her fiancé Andre Jaquette, of Florida and Mark B. Hoxie and his wife DeeDee, of Torrington, two great-grandchildren, Matthew Hoxie and Michael Hoxie and many nieces and nephews. |
